2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Ash & Meadow, we may collect information including:

Identity and contact information — Your name, delivery address, billing address, telephone number and email address.

Order information — Products ordered, order value, delivery details, returns, refunds and order history.

Payment information — When checkout opens, Stripe will process card payments through its hosted checkout. The Ash & Meadow storefront does not collect full card details. Order and payment references are used to reconcile your payment.

Contact Form information — Information you provide when asking us a question, reporting an issue, requesting a return or otherwise contacting us.

Marketing preferences — Whether you have chosen to receive marketing communications from us.

Technical and website information — Such as IP address, device type, browser, website activity and information collected through cookies or similar technologies.

5. Production and fulfilment

To manufacture and deliver Ash & Meadow products, we use Contrado Imaging Ltd as a production and fulfilment partner.

Where necessary to fulfil your order, information such as your name, delivery address, contact information and order details may be provided to Contrado and relevant delivery carriers.

We only share information reasonably required to fulfil and deliver your order.

6. Other organisations we may use

The website is configured to use Netlify for hosting and contact-form collection, Stripe for hosted payment processing when checkout opens, and Contrado for production and fulfilment. Newsletter consent records and order records are stored in our Supabase database. Relevant delivery carriers receive information needed to deliver orders.

We may also use accounting, legal and other professional advisers where needed. We do not currently run optional analytics or advertising trackers in the storefront.

Providers receive information relevant to their service. Some act as processors and others as independent controllers for their own legal, security or payment obligations.

7. Marketing

Newsletter signup requires confirmation by email before marketing begins. Signup and email sending remain unavailable until our email delivery service is configured. We record confirmation and unsubscribe choices to honour your preferences.

Where you have chosen to receive Ash & Meadow marketing, we may occasionally send you information about new pieces, collections and seasonal releases.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option within the communication.

You will still receive essential transactional messages relating to orders even if you opt out of marketing.

8. International transfers

Hosting, form and payment providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer takes place, the applicable transfer mechanism must provide the protection required by UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for details relevant to your information.

9. How long we retain information

We retain enquiries while dealing with your request and any related complaint. If the enquiry becomes part of an order, dispute or legal claim, the relevant record is retained with that matter for as long as needed to resolve it and meet applicable legal requirements.

Newsletter details are used while your subscription remains active. If you unsubscribe, we stop using them for marketing; a minimal suppression record may be retained to respect your opt-out.

Order, payment and accounting records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting rules and for resolving outstanding disputes or claims. Retention depends on the record, the legal requirement and whether a matter remains unresolved.

Basket information stays in your browser until you clear the site data or your browser removes it, as explained in our Cookie Policy.
